Origin Summer Sale Back for Another Round

If you missed last week’s amazing sales on Origin, don’t fret! Since last weekend’s double sale was so popular, we’re bringing it back for one more weekend. With a $4.99 sale and a 40% off sale, now’s your chance to get the games you’ve always wanted.

Classic The Sims games are being slashed from $24.99 to an outrageously cheap $4.99 along with critically acclaimed games like Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Spore, Mirror’s Edge and many more.

A ton of blockbuster games are on sale for 40% off as well. You can pick up titles such as Dead Space 2, Dragon Age 2, the latest Need for Speed games and so many more for a fraction of their regular price. To make the deal even sweeter, if you grab one of the console games for 40% off you'll also get a free PC Direct Download of Need for Speed: Shift!

So many games are on sale this weekend that we just can’t fit them all on the page - make sure you take a good look at all the great titles you can grab. Be quick though, the sale ends on Tuesday!

why isn't this sale happening in Europe? seemed like a really good excuse to splash out on Battlefield and Dragon Age, but turns out the sale is non-existent in the UK, any reason why?

This is very unfair. I live in Portugal and the sale isn't happening here too.

Great job origin, you want me to pre-order games from your service yet when it comes to regional offers you only ever select the US. Great way to win my custom. I'll just order from another client in future, pity as i was ready to order BF3 from Origin

I don't see this sale happening or discount applied anywhere. It sounds like a great promotion, but I suggest you guys consider reviewing the strategy and functionality throughout the site, seems like you're having a lot of troubles here and there.I also think like other people, this should be world wide.

EA Fail again! This guys must be trolling us all. First MoH buyers paticipation into BF3 BETA, now this ridiculous regional SALE! Where's the respect with customers!? This and to many others things makes STEAM the best plataform to buy games ever. Shame on you EA...
